Please join me in denouncing this news as an outrage. It isn't possible to negotiate with terrorists like OBL. Why should we sit at the negotiating table with mass murderers? If I was guilty of murdering ONE person, I'd get life imprisonment and deservedly so. So why should we now negotiate with someone who has orchestrated the deaths of thousands of innocent civilians, and is no doubt planning further atrocities?
Biggest political rolleyes I've read this year.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Not gonna do it, wouldn't be prudent. (negotiate that is)

Why not bring them to the table?..........Then blow it up

You know sixpence, that's a really good idea.

OBL doesn't sound the kind of person whos with you could negotiate, not to forget hes not in charge of every terrorist organization out there.
Besides he would probably only be satisfied if US would leave the middle east and turn to an islamistic state... sounds pretty realistic plan huh?
beet1e,
Well.. you can't say US and Israel would been all so nice in the middle east...

Yeah, but he wouldn't fall for it. I think he knows the only thing we will negotiate is how he is going to die.

she has completely recovered from a brain tumour.
Apparently not with out collateral damage.

It's for God to judge Osama bin Laden. We just have to arrange the meeting. This could be a first step in that direction.
-
She should arrange the meeting while wearing a full burkha and an explosive vest. When she meets obl she can then push the button and solve 2 problems simultaneously. One for the mideast and the other for Great Britain. :p

Well Maverick, if you looked up her political record you'd realise how much great work she did, even while seriously ill. She's probably the only (former) Blair crony I admire; she's the only one with any integrity and her work in Northern Ireland was amazing.
I agree with her regarding military operations like Iraq, but would disagree with her if she includes Afghanistan in her statement. It goes without saying that I doubt OBL is the type to negociate.
Also, in Britain, we generally allow people to make statements that run contrary to government policy without talking about them being killed for it. I believe they call it freedom of speech.

Of interest, and I'm sure it's completely unrelated (from the article):
She also confirmed on the programme that she has completely recovered from a brain tumour. She stepped down as an MP in 2001.

Sorry bout that but she is way too chamberlinesque for me to take seriously.
Now did you really take my previoius post seriously or are you just having a bad day?

Good find. Notice the letters arent quite arranged in this manner: "Freedom from judgement."
