Storms generally suck. :)
However, after spending four months riding around on the glass pond that is the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, we hit a typhoon while heading towards Australia. It was a fun, a nice change. :)

ive been out in similar sea states and belive me...its not those waves that gets you seasick.
from what i have seen its the constant medium to small waves that gets to newbs.. in the really heavy seas you are to busy.
-
Pitching and rolling never really bothered me... it was the heaving that I didn't like.
After awhile, sea sickness doesn't make you sick or queasy. It just makes you tired.
-
very true
its "fun" to get back on land again too.. you just can't walk in a straight line for awhile :D
