I think the JV44 Doras looked really cool, and I'd love to see one flying the AH skies.

I think someone has actually already made a skin of that. search the forums.

there doesn't appear to be a download link, but here (http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=106939&highlight=jv44)  is where i saw the skin.

That skin is not currently doable because of the texture map stretching the underside.

Its been attempted going back to when AH1 first allowed skins.
