they where done with my older 1 mp hp camera

It was at airfield Teuge near Apeldoorn
I remebered i heard em in the distance i thought hell that's no cessna. So i went to have a look at the airfield, i was lucky they where still there. It was the first real corsair i ever saw in my life
There was a spit too but they are too cliche :)

i wish i had my nikon cool pics 2500 with rotating lense when a B17 and a B29 landed in our airfield with the origional crew for some historical get together, i got to go inside and talk to the tunnel gunner, and got to see it take off :)

There was a corsair based at the airport near my home where I grew up (Waukegan Il). I worked there as a teenager... got to sit in it a lot, saw it fly many times.. never got a ride though.
Another warbird there was a Seafury. I was at the airport the day the owner crashed it on take off and was killed. He was still alive after the crash and we could hear him moaning... couldn't get the cockpit open.
