Title: Anyone still messing with BF1942?
Post by: Estes on April 17, 2004, 05:37:52 PM
Out of boredom today, I installed my BF1942 road to rome, and was tooling with it today.

Anyone here still play with it every once in awhile?

I have BF1942 Road to Rome and Secret Weapon over WWII and it was excellent to play offline and online, but I quit playing BF1942 since probably about 5 month ago and playing Call of Duty now.  I hope that new game call "Brothers in Arms" would be so good than CoD and Im looking forward to see it this winter.

I'm using vf1942 to play Desert Combat almost every day.  It has gotten better and better every version.

I'm holding out hope that they nerf the M60 and the choppers (which are absolutely incredibly tough to shoot down), and seperate the M60/Law and M60/M24 (I think) package into M60 plus nothing, and M40 or Mossberg + LAW.

That right there would fix 95% of what makes the game so incredibly boring and repetitive.

BF:V could be such a great game, if the VC weren't so gimped in comparison to Rambo.

Anyone else notice you cant kill the chopper pilot?  I've had several hovering over flags when I was armed with a sniper rifle and put a half dozen rounds right into their head through the apparently super-duper bulletproof glass.  In real life practically anything could get through a chopper to the squishy bits inside...
