Title: Panzer Commander
Post by: CavemanJ on April 19, 2004, 07:57:02 PM
Ok, so I'm digging in the closet, sorting through stuff in whole spring cleaning thing, and I stumbled across this old title.  Figured I'd throw it on the box and mess around with it a bit.  Nope, it locks solid as soon as I click the checkmark on the mission briefing.  Get a very brief flash of the tank and terrain then solid blue screen and it's locked up.

Will PC not run on a 2kPro box?  Or is it something else choking it?

Ditto. I only have it because I couldn't find panzer general II and found it boxed together on ebay. Thought I would try it but it's a no go. I have winXP pro also.

So I'm gonna guess that Win2kPro is the common factor here?  Guess that would make it the problem.

i have found the old games ... SWOTL, in my case ... is/was not worth the time and trouble to get to run

modern games blow the old ones away in graphics and AI

No, I didn't even think about that.  Guess I'll give it a go and see what happens.
