Ok, when the gear/skid is down on the 163 and you touch down. It acts as if there is no skid and lands on its belly... Even the sounds of the landing sounds like a "gear up" landing.
Here is a picture of what I am talking about. Notice that the rear tail wheel is down. This shows that the gear is in fact down.
