Title: Graphics question...
Post by: Sikboy on April 22, 2004, 04:22:03 PM
While flying the latest Beta, I noticed a good deal of what I would call "Platueing" in the trees. That is, they appeared as if they had large flat tops. I'm guessing this is akin to the silly looking cardboard hedges in WWIIOL, and is the price we pay for ground cover, but I also imagin that it could be my graphics settings. Does anyone know what I'm talking about here, and/or how to change it?

They are flat, they are layers. If you have flown Il2 or TR they do something similiar, Tk even uses this "stacking" to do buildings.

They are not individaul trees.I imagine it would be like placing a tile 15 feet above the fround then painting the tile to look like trees from above.

Thanks Batz, I thought that was the case, but was hoping there was something I could do about it on my end. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have the cover than go back.

And thanks for replying to my email too, you answered all my questions.
