Fascinating read...

He never once mentioned 911 that I could find...If anything triggered a Civil war in 2004 911 would have...
But his use of language is to old school to be from a possible future IMO..
Just an intelligent person fishing on a BBS..

Lets hope so for our loved ones sake!

Shotgun shells and warm socks..

I think it was him that mentioned a massive earthquake in California late in 2002 that "caused thousands of deaths"....

Did I forget that?

I read some of his posts...FULL-O-*****.

Language changes over time and he’s using language of this time.
We don't say neato, groovy, in Dutch, frap, bobby socks, beehive, etc. anymore.
15 years ago the words laptop, palm pilot, Personal digital assistant. didn't exists now my 3 year old knows that a mouse is not always running on the floor.
He should be useing language, and not just single terms, that requires further explaning.

There was a program on one of the smart channels (TLC, DSC) a while back where a guy had come up with a math formula that showed a spike for every major event in history such as WWI, WWII, etc. The formula trailed off to nothing at the end. His theory was that showed when we'd discover time travel and nullify his formula.

Might have been the same program, but another person was saying they expected to find some big secret buried in the Sphynx.

In the whole time travel debate, the thing I've always found most interesting is discussing paradox issues.

We just need to get enough cash pooled together, and we can find out for sure!

I think the real test is to ask him why the hell isnt he smart enough to get the winning lotto number for a real 'big' one, make sure the person that historically won it (in his alternate world) doesnt buy the ticket...

or go waay back in time to some other alternate world (aka ours)...say, to the middle ages, become ruler of the world or something of the sort.

I mean, geebuz Marty McFly, ,you got a freaking time machine. :D

Looks like whatever you were advertising has already checked out of this time dimension!

LOL, way to go Ebay!  It was a reproduction of the DeLorean time machine from back to the future.  Sombody put a lot of work into it (it was a real working delorean).  Maybe Universal got all huffy about it and complained to Ebay.
