In AH1 the clipboard can be dragged a little off the top of the screen so you can have a relatively large map area for a given amount of space taken up by the clipboard.
In the AH2 version here is a lot of metal above the display area, since it looks like a clipboard, and it cannot be pushed outside the screen area. This means thare is a lot more clipboard filling the screen for a given map size.
More clipboard round the useful area and not being able to move it off screen partially is a bit annoying at the moment.
Also, in hanger GUI menu is partially obsured by the pull out hanger menu, it clips the left hand side.
