Title: reformat harddrive
Post by: TBolt A-10 on April 24, 2004, 12:27:17 PM
heya, pilots.

my friend's Dell P3 (running WinME) has some undetectable virus that slams his computer with a dozen pop-ups each time he dials up to the internet.  so, i wanted to reformat his harddrive in hopes that it would kill the virus.

his box came with a copy of WinME, but the CD doesn't help me reformat the HD like a typical "reinstallation CD" would.  his CD just reinstalls the operating system.  :(

i'd appreciate if anyone would point me towards some resource that will help me reformat the harddrive.

thank you!

zmeg,
THANK YOU, SIR!!!  :D

That's all I needed...his system is cleaned and ready to rock!

I appreciate the quick note, bro.
