When I am going to knock back a couple I like double makers mark on the rocks. No mixer no water just ice cubes and bourbon
Jim Beam will do in a pinch, as I have developed a taste for it since my youth.
or gran marnier
-
My "Favorite" depends on the setting, mood, and activity.
Microbrew beer on hot days during BBQ's
Margarita's when I'm down south vacationing.
Stoly on the rocks with a lime when I'm exhausted and plan on retiring to bed early.
Washington or Cali wine when out to dinner.
Gran Marnier when I have a cold (only 1, any more than that defeats the purpose.

Ditto.
Stoli is my favorite vodka, although I'm willing to go along with the fact that it's not the best ever. I just have trouble enjoying any Vodka that doesn't originate in an Eastern European ****hole.

Jameson Irish Whiskey on the rocks. Friend turned me onto it a couple years ago and I haven't had a taste for any other whiskey since. I personally consider it a little bit spendy at about $25 a liter, but it makes a great once-in-a-while treat after dinner.
Beer: Sam Adams, Warsteiner, Heineken, or Killian's Red.
-
Beck's/any at least 12yrs old scotch all in the same mug
12oz of beck's 1oz of scotch
or
vodka (stoli or finlandia) but better stoli and orange juice or tomato juice with some steak sauce
or
champaign(preferably spanish cava) and orange juice
or
Bailey's and coffee
or
anything someone else is paying for

Anyone like Pete's Wicked Ale? How about Schultheiss? Guinness extra stout?

Crikey. I made an Irish car bomb with Guinness extra stout once. 20 oz of curdled bitterness. Whoa, that was rough. This coming from a guy who loves Guinness and regular Irish car bombs.
I'll stick with the regular Guinness, thank you very much.

"Rested" tequila. Anejo is also good, but I like it with a bit more bite.

Pint of Guinness (or whatever size is available, here the 14.9oz cans are preferred), shot of Jameson, shot of Bailey's dropped in. I like to double the Bailey's for extra yumminess.
Bailey's curdles. Chug, do not sip.
It's like a big yummy beer milkshake.

although it plays hell on my blood sugar, I have developed a fondness for B52s as of late. Barring that, I prefer Jack Danials with coke on the rocks -and oh yeah, Any beer made by the Deschutes Brewery :) The best quality brew on the planet!

Saurdaukar, that is rapidly becoming my favorite though I prefer diet pepsi. Hard to beat a good single malt scotch though and of course it must be taken neat.

Any one of these three will do:

Lime? With an anejo? Even an overpriced, overrated anejo like Patron... that's just wrong.

Jamaican blue mountain coffee. Made pretty strong, lots of milk, 2 sugars and a generous measure of single malt scotch whiskey.
Can't beat it.

Of course, non alcoholic would have to be water, white soda, or some form of specialty coffee/java.

I am getting more into whiskeys American (preferably bourbons) and Irish whiskeys
Anyone tried Middleton's Irish whiskey? It is made by Jamesons. It's their high end whiskey.
Also Redbreast Irish whiskey is great. Both are kinda pricey though.
As far as bourbons go I like Basil Haydens or Knob Creek.
I still love a good martini
Either Christiania or Thor's Hammer vodka or Tanq. 10 Gin.
Guinness is the best beer in the world.

Jack daniels or Wild Turkey & coke
Asahi Beer or Carlton Draught on tap

With branch water on select occasions, but Coke???
You are obviously not a product of Tennessee’s fine primary education system or you would have learnt important stuff like this.
…and also that it’s spelled Jack Daniel’s.

Strawberry banana smoothies, straight.

One should always shout a Horrido before taking a shot of Jager works for me :D

Hehe, anyone remember a "Chinese Coffee"?
Now that was a good one. At least for the people who watched the person who ordered it.

And ice just deadens the flavor. These guys deserve slow sipping from a snifter.

I agree on leaving out the coke but I can't stand the sour mash.

for 'refreshment' :
REFAJO.
(its beer mixed with champagne flavored soda. A very popular drink in my country.)
For relaxation:
Sangria (cold cold cold no ice)
With any meal:
Whiskey or some nice fruity wine.
Im not into labels or brand names. if it tastes good in my opinion its GOLD for me. Ive tasted stuff thats 'high quality' or 'famous brand' that i've thought tasted like crap, and cheap brands that i've thought tasted great.
Oh, but my all time favourite drink is still Sake. Both Cold and Warm. Fell in love with it when in Tokyo :)

I like mountain dew.
