S!
Hey guys, I am with a WWII OL squad called Bose Geschwader 26. We have about 30 or so members and we are looking to diversify into Aces High also.
I am just getting my feet wet in here and I really like the game so far. I dont know the ins and outs yet. Trying to learn the basics of gameplay. If any of you guys wouldnt mind a n00b tagging alog I would appreciate it. I am good in heavy bombers and can keep 'em nice and steady though flying a 111 solo and trying drop the eggs on target is a challenge. I am not all that great a fighter pilot though. turn fighting in a WWII OL 109 is near impossible.
So, let me know and I will be there with bells on.
S!.
regards,
Quig

Welcome aboard.
Now relinquish all hope of a normal life from this point forward. :D

Heh, I gave up any hope of that after my first month of WWII Online.
Now, if the game was Axis vs. Allies, that would certainly extinguish all hope.

Check the CT (Combat Theatre). There is an Axis vs Allied map there now.

We have some Axis vs. Allies Events you can check out... CAP, Squadron Operations (though you need a squad sponer to participate in that) and Historic Scenarios are all excellent avenues to get the Axis v. Allies experience.
I invite you to fly along with Shillelagh in this friday's Squad Ops, however, we're allies, so you might be better off finding another sponser.
Check out the BBS's for these events for more information.
And look for the JBs online if you're looking for a Luftwaffe mission in the MA. They fly Rooks and usually have multiple missions going when I fly on the weekends.

Welcome to AH noob, there is many things to do & learn in the MA {Main Arena} after a year & 1/2 I'm still learning things myself.
Not sure what you enjoyed doing in WWIIOL but if your into GV's {ground vehicles} be sure to talk to us.
We are LTAR ground unit, we are a dedicated GV squad that
fights for the country Knights. We are on every night from approx 5pm PST to 1-2am, with squad ops on Saturday nights.
Look for any of my squadmates in the arena they all have the "LTAR" name in front of their handle/callsign.
Again welcome to Aces High hope you have a great time:aok

Nice handle, BTW :)

Stop into the Training arena.
Its run on kind of an informal basis.
But ussually someone can answer a basic question or 2.
Its a great place to learn the basics of the Flight model without dieing every 30 seconds.

Welcome quig.... I was most impressed by your banter in the MA. I make no claims at expertise but look me up anytime... ride along.. ask me questions.. whatever ya need.

welcome aboard.
Post later when you've crossed the point when AH has ruined your enjoyment of WWIIOL ;)
If you're a GV'er, the above doesn't apply.
