Found this in the Naval Archives.
"Japanese aircraft carrier Hiryu maneuvers to avoid three sticks of bombs dropped during a high-level attack by USAAF B-17 bombers, shortly after 8AM, 4 June 1942."

This is exactly the reason the USAAF quit bothering trying to bomb ships from high altitude in level bombers:  They couldn`t hit anything.

Oh, but it DOES work in AH  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

That's why we need Commanders to be able to have an "evasive technique" for the Fleets !

Setting Zig Zag points only get you whines from the CV turning...

Yup..something will have to change. Played around a bit offline this morning bombing a carrier. Have not tried 30k yet, but I bet its not that hard. Hitting a ship from 10k is a piece of cake.
