Seemed to go ok? I think the terrain behaved, and we had good #s.
I hope vox stayed working for everybody.

was given no orders in email after was told to expect them.
lost vox right away.
flew around for an hour then was told to split my small group of 5 planes and fly alone.
made contact with 20+enemy p38s at about 34k (2k above us)and 12 formations of b17s below.
dove past the p38s already above and destroyed 3-4 bombers.
died in a warpy conflagration of aircraft moving eratically.
all in all I had a good time but I think my squad hated it and never wants to waste that much time flying in circles for a gangbang again.

Ok well, 1st off I would ask that you do come back for frame 2 and dont judge the whole squad op experience on a "so so" frame.
...that being said, you should have got orders, and that was not your fault, so I say sorry on behalf of the SO team.
Next frame I will absolutely ensure you get a set of orders.
Also, dont split your fighters up next time, fight as a team, nevermind what is suggested to you. I dont know if they wanted you as scouts? but that sounds kind of odd.
So, lets see you next week, team up with another fighter group if at all possible and lets see if we cant get you a better frame.
...sometimes getting squads in at the last minute can be a gamble, but I wanted to get you guys in there. At the very least you have been exposed to the workings of the SOs...call it a dry run ok?, and let me work it out for you.
As for lost vox, and the warps, sadly that does happen in large events from time to time, and we have all been there.
I will also look into the # of 17s in a group and ensure we aren't over taxing folks systems.

One might not experience high scores in a Squad Operations frame as one can tally in the MA.
