People are finally realizing it's an uber EZ mode plane that takes no skill to fly. That's why us "Air Quake" twitch shooters like it so much

Lol, uber easy? I think not. It performs well if you know how to do it.
However, it is not forgiving at all. I've had way too many accidental snap stalls.
-
It's an extremely forgiving airplane, far more than most in the plane set. It has an extremely gentle and forgiving stall characteristics and spins are extremely easy to recover from if you catch it in time. The only times spins should be a danger in the P-38 are the ones caused by the auto-flaps retracting while you are at a low altitude near the deck. Those usually prove fatal.

Yeah, it has. HT replied in one of my posts pretty much saying he's gonna keep the hand holding, coddling feature in.

Be nice to have the option to turn auto retracting flaps, on or off, like the stall limiter, Tracers, auto-Take off etc.... Then everyone gets what they want....

amen tequila.
autoretract is just stupid. and imo, shameful to have in a sim that prides itself in being as realistically modelled as possible.

Hitech has said that it's either make them autoretract or make them jam/break. After I flew the 38 in AEP, I was glad our flaps don't jam. Seems like in AEP they jam at as low as 150 mph, it's really annoying. But it would be really nice if autoretract was optional, I agree.
