Perhaps as a perkable item (say 50-100 each), a V1 or V2 rockets could be launched from a HQ towards any given target by clicking on the map the same way we target with ship guns. Of course, it should depend on factors such as country fuel and industry health.
If not for the MA, then it has definate potential for the Combat Theatre, SEA, and the new mission version of AH.

V1s and V2s would be fun to have in the MA or anyother part of AH!! Hope they can make em!!:aok

The V1 isnt a rocket, it's powered by a pulsejet.
What practical use would they have in AH?
Maybe I'm wrong, but isnt the accuracy on them was bad enough that they'd be totallly useless in the MA? The V1/V2 are terror weapons, pretty useless for attacking anything but large cities. Thier actual military value is pretty close to nil.

I don't know...giving some of the hording I've seen in the past in the MA I would bet even odds you fire on up and you will be bound to hit at least one of the enemy...maybe even a whole squad of lemmings.

We should get these before we get the a-bomb :)

most of what hitler did over england had low military value...he proved rather well that unneeded terrorism is NOT how to run a war...

Unlike the total indescriminate destruction of many German and Japanese cities which was seemingly , lol.
Sorry. This is not the place. Couldn't resist.

The V1 could be a great part of an England scenario. Here's the idea, you define 2 'alleys' where V1s will be flying through as well as define roughly where the launch sites should be.
The scenario begins with both sides launching air cover (Germany to defend the launch sites and England to intercept V1s). The English team must also strategically determine how many of their pilots to assign to bombing duty to attack the launch sites. This way, you have people performing spotter roles for the bombers, scouting Germany for V1 launch sites, and you also have bombers trucking in behind them, ready to take the targetting data (eg, "V1 site at 12,5,1, three launchers visible, four cons visible!"). You also have some escort fighters assigned to the bombers to engage the German defense.
Finally, back over the channel, you have a bunch of altitude monkeys that have to coordinate amongst themselves who will orbit and who will swoop down to try and get enough speed to intercept a detected V1. The final score would be a calculation based on the number of V1s that make it to target zones.
Of course... you COULD simulate this with the current game engine, but you'd need volunteer "Doodlebug" pilots to simulate V1s using Me-262s.
Hmm, perhaps I should repost this on a scenario board.... Anyhow, the key here is that the V1s can be part of a richer strategic gameplay and, as long as they are kept within check, could contribute greatly to the game.
