Tomorrow might not be such a good day for the kerry campain.....
[edit]
Thanks Skuzzy, you're the man!
-
Is it too late to vote for Howard Dean? I got overly emotional every time he spoke.
-
Interesting.
More ammo for towards the not liking the guy. (well the same ammo really just more info about it)
He has no integrety. I know some jokers are going to call me a right winger, but I do not like Bush much either.
Just enough more that he will get my vote over Kerry...
-
True Gto. I've supported Bush more than anybody but the last month has taken it's toll on me. I would actually consider voting for a democrat if they would just put somebody up there that stood for anything I believed in. Zell Miller could have been the next President if he had wanted to. Hell I'd even vote for McCaine right now. Definitely not Kerry though, I trust him less than I trusted Clinton  Clinton was smooth enough to get away with the BS. Kerry isn't.........
Side note.....
Anybody remember in 1996 when Dole was on stage at a campain rally and fell off the stage? That was the point when I knew Clinton would win.
Anybody read about Kerry falling off his bike this weekend? I had the same thought about him as I did about Dole.
-
Good that the truth comes out about Kerry.
-
I'd almost make a bet that tonight or tomorrow we'll be hearing from the Kerry camp that this is another attack on Kerry's military record from the Bush team. Which will give him the excuse to attack Bush on his national guard record  , again.
I'm actually starting to feel sorry for the guy :D
-
Yeah, Kerry really is starting to make Dean look good.
I would have voted for Lieberman.
Bush seems to be pandering to far to the left to me, he may shoot himself in the foot cause I know many conservatives are pissed at him especially over the illegal issue.
Kerry is slime, he is every stereo-type of a bad politician, but a real man, (well not much of one).
How he stayed in Politics is beyond me, but I guess the same people stupid enough to keep teddy the murderer kennedy in office vote for Kerry as well.

Truth? Does that word mean something else in Sweden?
-
"In the military, loyalty between commanders and the troops serving them is a two-way street. We have here a guy (Kerry) that with all of us in the field [in Vietnam] -- actually fighting the North Vietnamese -- came home and then falsely accused all of us of war crimes at a time when the people in uniform couldn't even respond," O'Neill said.
"And he did that knowing that was a lie," he added.
But doesnt he know the rule of thumb....especially on this board.....kerry served and bush didnt....it doesnt matter if kerry's service was a sham...horrible....dishonorab le...he has medals so therefore he can betray his country and fellow service members all he wants.

No it means the same. Is this your best spin-attempt here?
-
Nope, but the OPINIONS of some ex-military men do not constitute TRUTH.
-
You are interviewing a person for a management job, so you check out his references. 19 of 23 of his peers and all of his supervisors say he is unfit for the position you are trying to fill. You're going to ignore those OPINIONS?

NO WAY MAN!!!! NO WAY!!!
KERRY IS WAR HERO!!! HERO!!! HERO I SAY!!!!
KEEP THE BAD EVIL PEOPLE AWAY!!!!

Having been in the service, I wonder just how much information his "peers" have. Now, if the majority of his crew came out against him, I would give that more credence.
I browsed through the SwiftVets (http://www.swiftvets.com/) forum. The discussions there are every bit as polarized as here.
Truth? I also wonder what Kerry's peers think of Dubya sitting in a school room reading about goats while there were hijacked aircraft flying around this country.

Take notes, MT. :D

But there is TRUTH to the fact that he testified before congress in 1970s and LIED through his teeth about what he'd seen and done!
That's what upsets most of the vets. Plus, I look at kerry back then and ask myself is that an officer I'd like to work for. The answer...NO.
-
Kinky for prez!!!!!!!!!
-
Kerry's command of the PCF boat lasted four months and ended shortly after he received his third Purple Heart. According to naval regulations at the time, any sailor who received three Purple Hearts could request a transfer out of the combat zone.
====
Wow, he served four months in combat then rotated out on some pitifully weak 3rd purple heart commendation? He then goes back to WDC and calls his fellow sailors and soldiers rapists murderers and baby killers? He then throws back his medals, or his buddies medals...or his buddy ribbons or his medals?
Kerry for President? Yeah right.
Just another example in a long line of examples of how the democratic party consecrated under William Jerfferson Clinton
is damned.

The majority who served under him HAVE come out and signed this letter.
-
19 of 23 are giving their opinions he is not fit but there is not one good 'reason' given throughout the entire article.. What are their 'reason' he is not fit?
With the same poll in mind, how hard do you guys think it would be to find similar circumstances surrounding Bush and the people he did (or did not) serve with? Do you guys not believe you could use the same poll against Bush and achieve the same results?
Com'on, strawman indeed..........
dude

from CNSNEWS.com history ...
http://www.cnsnews.com/corporate/history.asp
The Cybercast News Service was launched on June 16, 1998 as a news source for individuals, news organizations and broadcasters who put a higher premium on balance than spin and seek news that’s ignored or under-reported as a result of media bias by omission.
Study after study by the Media Research Center, the parent organization of CNSNews.com, clearly demonstrate a liberal bias in many news outlets – bias by commission and bias by omission – that results in a frequent double-standard in editorial decisions on what constitutes "news."
In response to these shortcomings , MRC Chairman L. Brent Bozell III founded CNSNews.com in an effort to provide an alternative news source that would cover stories that are subject to the bias of omission and report on other news subject to bias by commission.
Experience learn that sources of information pretending to be unbiased are more biased than anyone can imagine.
Credibility of the source : ZERO.

straffo, are you orel??? Sorry if Im wrong.. Just thought I saw that somewhere..

So what? The interesting part here is tomorrows press meeting, and that letter where almost everyone who was in contact with Kerry in Vietnam feels he is a bad choise for CiC. The source has got nothing to do with that.
-
Good that the truth comes out about Kerry.
not truth - opinion.
But is it TRUE that they hold that OPINION
hello wall.

<---- slaps straffo up side the head!
Sorry Straffo I didn't mean to slap you up side the head, but I love the sound of an echo :D

hello wall.
Before this press conference I had no idea that 19 of 23 of the officers that served with him in Vietnam are against the idea of having him as CiC.
That is the truth that is coming out.

Now more seriously reading the article provided by Sandman I do find very hard to believe the CNSNEWS article.
I'm sure I can find 19 vet fan of Kerry ,we just need to have to know the criteria CNSNEWS used.

Have any of actually read his fitness reports? They all give him very high marks, even when he had been under their command for a very, very short time. They sounded to me like the Officer(s) doing the fitness reports knew that he was under someone's wing, and they better file a good report.
Regardless, he did his service.
