Players can accelerate the development process for us by testing the patches we put out. The more people that test it, the easier it is for us to fix things for a wide variety of platforms.

You heard the man, get in there and download AHII beta 26 and help out Dale, Doug and the rest of the AH crew to get the new version out the door! :)

i would if my computer could run it :(

Just one point to make...
AH-I = was a completely open beta.
AH-II = is an existing subscriber only "open" beta.
If they truly wanted more players trying it out then IMO they would have had AH-II on an open server to suit that purpose.
-
There is nothing to stopp from people from playing it offline without a subscription.

Later is fine. AHI is good enough for me. Take your time, get it right and when ever it is ready I would love to play it. I am having too much fun in AHI to take the time to try AHII, unless its an organized efort and I know there will be a few fights there.

you there, didn't you read the sign? quit making sense logic and reason have no place here.

it would make sense to let the H2H gang have at ah2 beta online since no paying customers fly regularly in it.
the h2h gang would jump at the oportunity and enjoy themselves in the process and no doubt report much bugs if they find them

AH2 isn't going to include TOD - the mission theatre. So the flight models will be different perhaps, the gunnery is likely to be different...
...but the gameplay is going to be SOSO - same old, same old. It will still be grab-the-best-plane-for-the-job, it will still be the übertrio, gangbangs, hording, suicide-the-CV, pork-n-auger...
Of course, a lot of the old game-the-game tricks may well not work, so we'll see a different pattern to the gameplay. But I've not seen anything to indicate that the underlying theme will be any different from SOSO.
So as far as I'm concerned, I don't care when AH2 comes out.
TOD seems like a good concept, but I have reservations about how many will play it. Most are probably going to be happy in the MA paddling pool.

"Not if the NPA can help it!!"
Bring forth the NPA! Let the MA be 1943! Put an end to this 1945-ish madness!! :D
This advertisement has been brought to you buy "The Association of the People who support the NPA". The Association of the People who support the NPA - always there for you, and the better future of the AH world(and seeking out methods to bring sharp rectal pain to people who love Runstangs, Nikis, Lgays and Schmuckfires).

Kweassa,
Yes, I read your NPA quite some time ago. A lot of good sense in there. With a new game realease, it might be a good time to implement!

I keep downloading it, it keeps telling me my current version is out of date.

I did the auto update within the game as wel Jaxxo. Got the update and went right back into Aces High 1... I then went to go into AH2 with fester and it said I needed to update; after I just updated...
So I redownloaded the update and went directly into AH2 this time. It worked fine that way. I dont know if Aces High is picky or it is Windows that is being the picky party here but in any case, I had the same thing happen to me. So just going directly from the AH2 update to Beta 27, and then back into Ah2 did it for me.
I don't know if that makes sense but maybe it will help you.
-
i go into ah2 every once and a while but there is never anyone there actually downloading bate 28 now you can only fly around so long by yourself before you get bored.
need to fiqure out a way for designated time when people will be in there

If H2H was enabled for non-subscribers then there would probably be a few full servers up 24/7.
*edit - I deleted remainder of message because it sounded bad, sorry.
