Hi:
I took the P-51D for a ride today... nice skins by the way.
I noticed that the engine manifold pressure starts dropping from 14,000' up, starting from 61 inches down to 44 inches at 17,000'.
Althought it is true that the blower was swithched on at about 12k (I have not the P-51D manual in front of me right now, so it can be another alt), in my believe it is ridiculous to simulate a drop of pressure of almost 20 inch for over 3,000 feet, that in real life could be solved simply with the flip of a small lever.
The problem is not small when flying in between 16'000' and 17,000', making this airplane almost useless, being its output power cutted by 33% aprox. when other airplanes on the arena have not simulated the same problem, or in the same way, giving them a significant advantage.
I would like to see this fixed somehow.. or even better, I would like to see the same behaviour (drops in manifold over 12k in all planes) plus a MANUAL blower speed/switch emulated, asigned to a key, in a kind of COMPLEX ENGINE option in the FLIGHT menu.
Thank you.

It should only be dropping to 54 inches or so. There's some weird bug going on.
BTW, supercharger control in the P-51 was automatic.

Roger...
By the way.. I took last night the Spit XIV and also has the same problem.
Sorry, but I can not report about other airplanes.
Thank you.
