Title: Beta 27: Spit XIV's RPMs cannot be modified significantly

The Spitfire Mk XIV's RPM guage does not allow more than +/- 300 rev change.  It is not possible to set cruise or max efficiency settings.

That was the boost gauge.  The RPM guage behaves differently.

well ok I guess I should have read your thread, the a6ms have / had the same rpm problem....

Are you doing this from a high speed and are you pulling back your manifold pressure before your RPM?

Moderate speed (330 indicate or so, IIRC).

I'll test it in more detail and give a reply.  The error on the boost guage made it tricky to test settings.

Ok.  BTW, the MP gauge bugs for the Spit 14 and Zero's were fixed, but we didn't do an artwork release in the 28 patch, so the fixes haven't shown up yet.
