Title: Dear skuzzy
Post by: txmx on May 07, 2004, 03:47:58 PM
You are right skuzzy I should not have been trolling.

But also on the other hand it is getting very old that no matter what the discussion i get jumped from all sides.

It seems I cant voice my opinion like everyone else can without being attacked.

If you look you will see that I have tried on more than one occasion to partisipate in discussions on a civill and respectfull manner.

I have only become pissy when attacked as I would guess anyone would.

Crap I have even been called in a left handed way a NAZI.

I found that offensive and voiced it so in a mature fashion.

But you are correct and I will not troll again

TXMX
 How was that an attack?

If you are Mrblack, running to Skuzzy is not going to get you anymore credibility here. It will just make things worse. If you are him, you dug a whole so deep on this board the vast majority here are going to think everything you post is a troll and never take you seriously.

You made you bed, now lie in it.

You are not an inocent victem here, you brought this on yourself.

These are observations, not attacks.

The first posts were jokes and pretty minor ones.
Title: Dear skuzzy
Post by: txmx on May 07, 2004, 04:05:42 PM
And as far as making my bed and now must lie in it LOL.
Come on please...

The plain and simple fact is skuzzy is sick and tierd of this BS .

I have told him I could post proof of any thing I said that I have done.

But He has told me that it would do no good and that He would ban me for GOOD If I did because it would just fan the flames further.

Look All i want is to be able to partake in discussions on sensable topics with being slammed all the time.

There is only a few that seem to find humor in this the vast majority is far to mature to waste there time with it.

Just leave me be and you have my word I will treat all of you with the respect that I wish to recieve.
Fair enough?

I think the best thing you could do is to change your name back to the original? MrBlack and take it form there. You would get far more credibility (at least from me) if you did that and just ignored the stupid comments comming your way.

Just a suggestion

I'm very surpised skuzzy let you slide around all the bannings of your other handles from the BBS to this extent.

you should have taken a cue from the very first one, bided your time and came back on that handle instead of weaseling around it by creating a new handle each time.

for skuzzy -- far be it from me to tell you how to moderate the BBS, but imho you've handled this matter very weakly - this guy has made a mockery of your bans.

that'd be all well and fine if the whole thing wasn't a cheap ripoff of "groundhog day."

he should buck up, take the barbs in stride (and silence) until people get tired of it.  his continual counter-responding and testerone-laden chest beating of his dubious past just keeps the whole thing going on.

What keeps it going on is all the responses he gets, too.  Every time the guy says a thing fifty posters jump all over him for "past transgressions," each one trying to outdo the previous one in wit and cleverness.

I see exactly what he's talking about. All he wants to do is contribute and be a part of our Community, so much so he's putting his heart on the line by asking people to just let it go. We have a choice between doing the gracious, and kind thing, or we can continue to look like playground bullies picking on the odd man out.

It all depends on how much class you want to show.

Perhaps if you want to actually make a clean start you should stop posting so much.  32 posts a day is excessive by anyone's standards.

You may also want to stop trying to outwit everyone.  You're not equiped to fight those battles.

I don't know how many of you have been banned but when Skuzzy decides to ban you its like a baby seal getting pounded with a club.  You cant log on, he can even block your isp, and deny emails.  I have 3 computers on a router at my house and neither one could log in the last time I got skuzzied.

The point is that skuzzy has a lot of control over who can access these boards and I think that is a factor that weighs heavily against the possibility that txmx is mr black.

Post by: Shane on May 08, 2004, 12:53:34 AM
not if he has a dynamic ip and/or uses other isp's.  skuzzy could only block a range of ip's and that's not something he really wants to do as it might affect others unfairly.

and airhead, that's the whole point of sybil needing to stfu and not respond. people would eventually get tired of poking and prodding him.

I believe that because the address on the internet side of the router is the only one that would be seen on skuzzs end. Your IP address you made up for your 3 computer are the way your router sends the right packets to the three computers.

I welcome the return of a humble and well rounded MrBlack. It would save all the trouble of trying to recognize new handles, and give the poor guy a modicum of credibility.

I think that recent posts by psuedonyms(sp again:D) have displayed a more mature approach and the guy should be given the opportunity to be a known (not guessed)member of this community.

Of course, what I think has never mattered, and I'm sure we'll be talking about the next new member 'chili" very soon.

just making a clarification so some don't walk off with any misconceptions.

i'm more than willing to bury the hatchet, but i'll remember exactly where i buried it.

not that i have actually said much overall about this whole thing.

i... just... don't... like... liars... or... people... who... deliberately... misrepresent... things....  altho' technically they're one and the same.

the thing about this "clean slate" deal is that *you* can't really poke or prod at anyone (especially if not "provoked")
without it all coming back to you.
