LOL!
A bunch of chit, cheap cars with no resale value. I really like that broken rear axel look....very impressive... a show-stopper
I didn't know that the Mexicans and Japanese had so much in common when it comes to choosing really stupid arse offset wheels....what a classy look!
Man, what a freak show.

This one looks like it'd be fun on a track. Seems hardly to be rice:

What's with the curled up license plates and exposed hoses for the T-cooler(?).
-
There's a really nice Skyline in there too. A few of those aren't junk at all.

Definitely, their auto culture has tons of subgroups that make fun of each other. I bet they make even more fun of the US ricers.

Quite so.

I think I've figured it out. It's like.... on the cusp of disco and 80's music, but for cars. When car grunge hits, you'll see a bunch of cars that are real down to earth and never wanted to be like, famous or anything. And new paint jobs. Flannel, it's the new orange!
-
Laz, show us your Grunge British car.
-
Maybe it's just me, but it all looks like CG. The depth of field seems wrong.

Sandman, I thought the same thing :)
It made me look at all the pics to determine if it was some game or something.
-
Zactly, Lizking.
What goes around, goes around again. Grunge's influence was mostly early metal, like Sabbath.
Lazs's car totally fits... Like the grandfather of new car grunge. Er, whenever that happens.
All the clowns in the eighties bands can't even show anyone picture's of themselves in their hey-day, because... well because they look retarded.
Gonna be the same for the ricers. All that money spent, and shreck if they'll ever admit it.
Whereas cars like Lazs.... it's like Levis and Coke.

Digital cameras. s'why I can't bring myself to embrace them. At least the kind of digital cameras I can afford.

Everyone knows Niel Young was the father of metal and grunge...:D

I guess it's how they did it... I've noticed that whenever there are people in the frame, they are blurry. It's a long shutter. Interesting effect to take real life and make it look like a video game.
-
It's just the cheap digital camera and the low light condition I think. Mostly it's the buildings in the backgroud that have a "mural" look to them IMO.

And then there was the real deal!

the slow-speed exposure is clear. They either used a minipod or put the camera on the ground. That's why the depth of field; and also why there isn't as severe distorition as you'd think (yes, there is distortion)
