What is the best in-yer-face, smack-talkin line you ever heard in Aces High?  Humorous or non-humorous...parameters are wide open.

Regards, Shuckins/Leggern

Yep, shane & akak are the captains of smack talk. :D But with shane I think there is at least a measure of sincerity lurking underneath. ;)

Ran into a guy called succubus a few weeks ago. Gawd, the way he went on at me you'd think I'd pissed in his coffee.

Most idiotic verbal rampage by a player against me had to be Kapri (This was a long time ago). He in a Tiffie, me in a Spit.
I was out in the middle of nowhere when here he comes making what he though were BnZ attempts - 10k alt advantage, dives through guns a blazing and zooms out. LOL waay out. He goes 4-7k out then would turn around and repeat. Was easy to evade and slowly work towards a friendly base. I noticed another red con on the map making its way towards the same base I was working towards. Turned out to be a mossie. After Kapri's last lame attempt at a firing pass, he zoomed and kept going, allowing me to kill his fellow countryman.
All this time he kept talking smack (along with the colorful 4-letter variety) on Channel 1 on how I was afraid to fight and kept running from him. I kept asking him how a slower Spit could outrun a Tiffie (let alone a Tiffie with E advantage) LOL, after I shot down the Mossie, he even claimed that the base ack killed the mossie, not my shooting (Funny he could make a claim since he was long out of visual range by then.). Some people can be really *weird*
To be fair, that's the only time I've heard him talking trash like that.
LOL I still have the whole episode on film.

i found shane to be very amusing on channel 1.

but lately i noticed he got a little fan boy named skullsomething, who tries to imitate him.

atleast shane has the skill to backup his talk, but that skull dude- well i just think he is pathetic

makes me think of those silly little dogs who try to hump your leg

Rest of forewer whining dweebs w/o skill are not interesting.

I had nice galery of AH whines (screen shots) but lost it on HDD crash :(

Shane.

He speaks often of somebody or another trying to 'hump his ankle'. I also remember an altercation he initiated after some guy said goodnight to the arena on channel one. Shane says something to the effect of 'yeah, that 1/2 K/D ratio would make anyone tired.'

The guy got pissed, started spewing all sorts of really primitive insults and after about a solid hour, starts claiming that he's 'made Shane look like a fool'. The response:

'I can see how you'd think something like that, with a 1/2 K/D ratio'.

I think it went on for about another hour after that.

sowwy... never flew warpturds.   :D

most people who try to "smack-talk" do it like they fly -  weakly and in gangs and out of their league. and then they usually resort to the good ol' "your mom's an internet phag that has no life because i'm gonna beat her up"

then they get all huffy and say they're gonna squelch me (if they actually even know how; talk about needing a good beating with the clue by four) on ch1 before actually doing it - sort of like the last cowardly shot before ducking behind mommy's skirt.

and yet... despite all the passion many of these players exhibit about the game (on various levels), none of them get determined enough to get good enough to shut me up in the only effective way. if you really pay attention, you'll discover some interesting things about who, what and why i choose to rag on. then again that might be asking too much from single-celled amoeba. so many fragile psyches, desperately seeking validation thru faux 's and wtg's for activities in a game that hardly merit it.

NathBDP certainly deserves recognition in this area.  I've never seen someone with the intentional ability to turn someone who just complimented him into a foaming-at-the-mouth, rabid, single-minded automaton hellbent on killing him at all costs.

It's really a pleasure to witness.

Exactly my point.  So where's the challenge that you always talk about?  If you've mastered the game to this point what fun is there left besides smack talking?  I think that's about it.

Oh yeah, forgot, and your legendary charity work in the DA.

And Shanes best line for me was in the CT last week...Only my second time in there to boot. He made me feel so welcome. Mind you I had asked him for a lil help in learning a couple of moves which he said ok to...then after he got HO'ed by a 109...he promptly tells me on country channel......And I quote....

                                  "RedTop you SUCK"

Classic...Since I asked him if he would like me to come down there..No answer.....

SInce I was trying to deack so they couldnt pull us into the ack....

And I had killed a few on my own.....

So in closing.....Thanks but NO THANKS Shane.....your just to good for me and I'll continue to suck if your all there is to get help from.:lol

couldn't until i tried to figure out what exactly you're referring to...  i recall vaguely someone asking  for some help. i don't drop everything all at once to help someone learn something, especially if i'm busy playing for fun. if i said "ok" i'm pretty sure i would have given you a suggestion as to when a good time would be. it's not always immediately, just like any other person, sometimes a 2nd request later on might be needed as a reminder. remember, i'm just a player, i have no obligation to help anyone, but i do so anyway when i can. i've never once tried to suck up for the $10 credit.

i also recall clearly (but not who - probably you i guess?) of going in with 2 or 3 baddies and seeing a friendly very close, maybe making one blow thru pass and leaving me hanging.

was that you?  you let me hang to go kill some acks?

if you asked me on vox, it's 100% sure i didn't get the request.  if you asked over channel 2 then i probably was too busy to read or respond.

interestingly, i notice a lot of people have no clue as to when some help would be appreciated (and i *always* give a thanks for help or chk 6's), but when i'm on someone's 6 and in control of the situation, there's always plenty of voluteers who try and swoop down to get an easy cherry, conveniently ignoring the cons i see coming ib.  often this gets both me and the "help" dead as i try and peel off to deal with the ones inbound.

1st off.....It was 1 v 1 when I arrived after being killed by ack. You were engaged with eagler I think was his name and he was a 109. You weren't hanging from what I saw..you simply got HO'ed and the promptly told me I suked. I have no idea why you said that you just did. You had even got on someone for cherry picking me when I was 3 v 1 and them all higher by a ways than I.

2nd off..I didn't ask on channel I asked on Vox. If you don't have the vox on then I'm sorry for that...But how would I know that.

3rd...the help request was for the weekend..We had worked out that it would be sometinme on the weekend if we were online at the same time.

Now..all that said...maybe that will jog your memory. I know you help out on your own. It's a nice gesture. Not so good when the one that asks for help is told something like that 15-20 minutes later.

All I have to say...See Ya
