Just butt kissing I'd bet.... Only the Shadow knows.

I don't think our canadian friends have a clue about their own politics, they are too busy hating bush to have the time to worry about their own backyard! ;)
-
I assumed that in canada the only important thing was what was happening in America. Our politics effect them more than their own.

Exactly. Also note, none reply until after noon traditionally because they are either:
A) Hung over from beer
B) Still strung out, looking for more smack.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm.... Tylenol for hangovers?
Looks like that socialized medicine thingie isn't getting the word out. Or else, they like to work on damaged livers a lot.
-
water is by far the best hangover cure, followed by aspirin (and both work better if taken before the hangover arrives)

HahahHahaHa!
The best cure for a hangover, or anything for that matter, is smack. But if yer on smack, you wouldn't have a hangover in the first place. And if yer comin' down off of smack, the entire contents of a Tylenol bottle, 3 hookers and a team of physiotherapists would only make it worse. Ya see?
You a funny guy Rip. :rofl
Maybe the reason nobody answered is that there's no such thing as impeachment of a Canadian Prime Minister.

Sounds like there is at least one person in Canada with a bit of sense after all. (heck, maybe even two ;))

Just watch, it's just a prelude to 'they took them to Syria by truckloads' and operation 'desert storm advances to neighbour.'
Reminds me of the karate teacher in saturday night live..
'I don't know who this guy is.. he could be anyone! So I ..'
'I didn't know who you are, you could be anyone.. '

Martini is a big dick like Cheney.
Watching the Haliburton Fairy and Pinocchio hold hands in their latest sitcom "Between Iraq and a Hard Place" doesn't have much draw weight either when the lawn needs cutt'n and cottage country awaits.
Sorry to dissappoint.

It seems a bit odd, but in theory the Queens representative, the Governor General can dissolve the incumbent Government.
This despite the Canada act of 1982,

Not theory at all, she can do so in fact. Which is exactly the way it should be in a British colony. And I would take Queen Elizabeth as our head of state over some of those that are elected. ;)
-
Thrawn, that reply was so calm, change your meds ? ;)
How does that sit with most Canadians, can't say I would be too chuffed with the situation if I were a Canadian. Guess there must be a good reason why it is so.

I have a possible reason why, but I won't say it because I like a most of the Canadians here and wouldn't want to be seen as insulting them.

Heh, might as well say it Nuke. :)
The reason we don't give a butter is:
a) most people here don't even know it's possible, and
b) most wouldn't care if it was, because
c) as if
Kinda like one of those old laws on the books where you can spit on the sidewalk, but only on sundays and only the left side.

Yeah, Like the UK would/could dissolve your government. Tony Blair would have to get the okay from Bush first anyway :D
Seriously, no way in hell could the UK dissolve the Canadian government.

Brilliant, whos in charge of canada?
;)

The Queen of Canada is Elizabeth II. She is also UK's Queen but although she is sovereign of both countries, the UK has nothing to do with Canadian Government: QE II, as the Queen of Canada, does.
Theoretically, she has as much right to dissolve Canada's government as she does the UK's, which obviously is pretty close to nil, but it is written that parliment "sits at her pleasure".
A vote of no confidence is usually enough in the parliment system to cause elections to be held and that is as good as a impeachment.

It sits pretty well with most. There is next to know republican movement in Canada. And although there are some that which to break off of the Dominion I doubt the principle reason is because they are anti-monarists.
Guess there must be a good reason why it is so.
I imagine part of it (at least in my case) is pride in our colonial history and foundation within the British Empire. But also because the system works pretty well, at least compared to most other nations in the world (I'm a big fan of Question Period particularly, nothing like having to have our effective head of state be able to go toe to tow with all comers ;) )
For those unfamiliary with the Governor General and her role in the governance of Canada, the site below has an excellant explanation.
