Title: External View? What gives?

Just a quick question to those at HTC :)

How come external view is on for fighters in Beta 29?

Hope your going to turn that off. :)

Pyro turned it on some time ago when he was in there.  Another player was mentioning bugs with the A6M and to allow it to be looked at closely Pyro turned on externals for fighters.

It is an easy arena setting, don't worry about it.

i like having those views, not like you can kill anything flying outside it anyway.

I like to see the bullet holes and damage etc in all its glory:aok

I like f3 too.  shows off the cool models and makes the game look great imo.  

wouldn't want it abused of course...

must be on level autopilot to view f3.  no stick inputs allowed.

A little concession I guess.

 Having external visuals turned on is a nifty way of promo - not too many people are content with testing out games by themselves offline. So, my guess is by enabling externals during the test phase, people will join online beta arenas a bit more, look around their planes and the scenery, and find more bugs than testing it by themselves.

 No doubt it'll be back off when its ready to launch officially.
