Kellog's  Maple/ Brown Sugar mini-wheats.

Lots of fiber, and they're very yummy.

My favorite breakfast food is corned beef hash with two poached eggs on top, with dark rye toast!

Just because I often wake up late :D

From time to time I add toasted bread + butter + Jam , 1 or 2 yoghourt + 2 fried eggs ... but only when accidendly I'm not late to go working ...

Today = in a rush so to save time I took breakfast at my desk - mixed up some Carnation Instant Breakfast with some 2% milk from the cafeteria.  The milk comes in those little paper box containers that have to be torn open.  So I open up both ends (gotta make it big enough to mix up the breakfast powder) and proceeded to drink it.  Needless to say, right about then I was trying to handle a phone call and spilled a large quantity down the front of my shirt and pants.  Ended up going home to change clothes and lost more time driving around than I did eating at my desk.

Otherwise, I'll do cereal - Strawberry Special K, Banana Nut Crunch, Pecan Crunch, Corn Flakes, Lucky Charms, and Corn Pops are some of my favs.

Coffee chased with a cup of coffee... I follow that with a pitcher of coffee.

Sometimes I throw in some creamer, you know, to add a food group.

That's my brekfast after the poptart.  I go out on my back porch and have my morning cig as the sun is rising every morning.  It is a pleasant QUIET time for me and probably my favorite time of the day.

A Slim-Fast Bar.  Oatmeal Raisen.  Ick.

If I had my choice, it would be either:

1. Chorizo and eggs with a side of beans, flour tortilla and salsa.

or.

2. Venison sausage, eggs, sourdough toast with peach jam/biscuits with molasses.

I go with the Curval breakfast myself
About a pot of Coffee, 1/2 pack of Winston Lights, then my right eyelid slowly comes up, and I am ready to face the day, usually muttering to myself...."what the h** is wrong with you, just cuz the bar closes at 3AM, doesn't mean you have to watch them lock the doors....wonder what time I will get there tonight? RPM  WTG. Seriously, this is a great thread.  A wonderfully timed change of pace from our other threads.  Thank you RPM.

This may sound corny but I started a new business and the last couple of days have been rough.  I needed a smile, thanks for helping me out,  owe you one.

Anyway, back to breakfast:   Haven't gotten around to eating yet so I'll have a bite for lunch.

Yeah like everyday in Texas bro.  Migas, Huevos con papas, Huevos Rancheros or my favorite...

Huevos a la Mexicana (MAY-he-cana)...scrambled egss, chorizo, cheese, onions, tomatos and TONS of peppers...served with flour tortillas.  Of course, it is followed by a cup of coffee and a Winston S2 ciggy.

Another breakfast fav for me is the Monte Christo...

  MONTE CHRISTO SANDWICHES

6 slices cooked turkey
6 slices Swiss cheese
6 slices cooked ham
12 slices white bread buttered on one side
Make sandwiches. Buttered bread, turkey, swiss cheese, ham buttered bread. Cut each sandwich into quarters. Use wooden pick to hold quarters together.

BATTER:

1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/3 cup water
1 egg
Mix dry ingredients together. Add egg and water mix well. Dip each sandwich quarter into batter and fry in hot oil until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Eat while hot.

It's all I have to eat until lunch, Grun, and I get up at 5am. With lunch a good six hours away, I like having a full gullet before heading off. The one and only time I didn't eat a full breakfast it felt like my gut was rubbing a blister on my spine. And that was at 10am! Eight eggs, toast, and a good caffiene kick gets me both full and moving. The smokes make traffic more bearable :D

Uggg....I never have been able to eat breakfast, especially greasy stuff.  In college it was a plain bagel with cream cheese and a glass of juice on the way to class at noon.

I try to be healthier now: cup of orange slices or pineapple, or some yogurt before the morning workout.  Never been a coffee drinker though and can't start now.  Just got diagnosed with high blood pressure at 25 and need to cut out what little caffine I drink ;)
