Last night at 9:45 cancer finally won the battle with FoxBat of the BOP's.He was giving it hell for the past several months and the last month all but the first 2 days were a mystery as to how he did it.
Ive personaly met few people more Human in my life and he will be missed by many.Brian was an accomplish music teacher in Hedgesvill West Va for the past several years and also the band leader. He touched many lives and I guess thats all you can ask for from life.
He will be laid to rest in Rest Haven cemetary in Hagerstown Md on Monday. It was a long drawn out fight but it was much better to have all that time to say the things that in other circumstances would have gione unspoken.
to a great friend.God Speed Brian.

Foxxbat wasnt the best pilot. If fact now that hes gone I can say he was a crappy pilot. but he was a hell of a friend.I can remember leading to his addiction of AH when he came by and watched me fly."Thats doesnt look hard" Yea.....whatever buddy. Its a cake walk.Nothing but love in here. What I want to do and Falc came up with this idea,Brian was a bad pilot, when he started,in crappy pilot mode,he would goon everything that needed gooned till he learned the ropes. He flew 32 billion goon flights to help the cause. In fact when he first had issues I believe his words were "Honey let me park this goon and lets hit the hosp." I want to run a 3000 strong goon flight and film it for his wife in the MA.I dont have an account right now but his is still active and I could use it for 1 flight.Flying lead in a Goon plethora of massive reconstruction. What a way to celebrate his online presence.I think it would be so totally fitting of his AH presence.Could we group together long enough to make this work?Im a week away from reconstructing the computer to handle it.

I think we could/should be able to communicate the intent...I am an optimist...It is a great idea. and I would be more than glad to participate. I'm not so sure the MA is the place but I would give it a whril.

You know what would be cool is a memorial page on the AH website for all those who have past away while their accounts were active.
A little sappy but a nice gesture.
-
Naw Mars.Thats not sappy. Its a community in alot of ways. That would actually be kinda cool.Falc from BOP's is going to organise the Goon flight.Brian woulda got a kick out of that.:lol
-
It's always extremely saddening to see people go before their time. I've had the misfortune to see a few go in Warbirds and now in AH.
I'm old enough (64) to appreciate that it's not so much the 'going' but having done a few things you really wanted to do bfeore the final curtain that matters so I hope Foxbat had accomplished that. Far better than being snuffed out by politicians in a distant corner of the world.

Warbirds put their deceased into the off-line training area so all these ghosts you once flew with are flying together again. Can't think of a better way myself cos they're still doing exactly what they wanted to do. Rather cool getting a six call from a dead squadmate.

Wow!! Thats incredable :)

This was printed on the things at the funeral.I thought it was outstanding. On another note,as we stood by the grave saying our goodbyes,A plane flew overhead.Brians Step son came up to me and asked me if I heard it afterwards.I got a big smile and told him yea,I heard it.I want to find that guy and thank him.It was totally fitting. Looks like the flyby is going to be delayed a bit.My computer went out and Im a case, power supply and a cpu from doing this and I really want to do it right. You only lose the best friend you ever had once.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be.So he put his arms
around you and whispered "Come with me" With tearfull eyes we watched you
suffer. And saw you fade away.Although we loved you dearly,we could not make
you stay.A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest.God broke
our hearts to prove he only takes the best. Its lonesome here without you,we
miss you more each day.Life doesnt seem the same since you went away. When
days are sad and lonely and everything is wrong,We hear you whisper "cheer
up and carry on" Each time we see your picture, you seem to smile and
say,"Dont cry,Im in gods keeping,Well meet again some day.
