If 6 was 9 - Jimi Hendrix...
...and four others.

I'm sure it'd take no time at all to get sick of just five songs. One tactic would be to select really long songs such as Rush's 2112 or something, but I understand the spirit of the question and will join in.
Tom Sawyer - Rush
Where Eagles Dare - Iron Maiden
What A Wonderful World - Louis Armstrong
Only Happy When it Rains - Garbage
All Along The Watchtower - Hyndrix
Ask me again tomorrow and I'm certain the list would change...except for #3. That'll always be in there.

A. It's a fact that I'm an attorney because I can't count.
B. I tried to prune it down to five and couldn't. So I picked 6 and figured that it's my island and I gonna take 6.
:p

I know what the problem was. You wanted to choose one song for each of the five largest US cities. So you tried to pick 5 songs, but had to stretch to 6 to include Phoenix. Muhahahaha! J.K. ;);) Has it happened yet, BTW? (private joke between Dune & me) And what were your fi.. er, six songs?
