Post by: Charon on May 14, 2004, 11:21:22 PM: With a philosophy degree you don't have much choice but to teach:) I suppose at the height of the Internet economy you could get a job as some company's "visionary." He actually had a pretty good gig as a bass player in one of Chicago's more popular regional/local blues bands for a number of years (they've toured Europe some as well), so I don't know actually know how hard he was looking for a job during much of that time.
