with both 29 and 30 versions before the main screen comes on I get:  
            Intialization failed with -9 mainWLD-FAILED -1

amd xp  2000
gFORCE4 mx440
w2000

THE OTHER BETA VERSIONS WORKED.  I UPDATED MY GFORCE DRIVER AND INSTALLED DIRECTX9

That meens it can't open the stdshape.res file.

i would think a reinstall might work
