My pc crashes and I get the Blue Screen of Death whenever I try to start Aces High II.
Beta 29 and Beta 26 both crash.
Beta 19 worked, though my frame rate was 8 fps.
I have tried to isolate the problem. I made sure I had Direct X 9 installed and disabled other programs running in the background.
I am running Windows XP Professional on a Dell Workstation 450, dual Xeon 2.0 Ghz cpu's, Radeon VE video card, dsl connection.
Any suggestions?
Update 5/15/04 7pm:
deleted old ATI console and driver. Installed updated console and driver from http://www.ati.com and Beta 30 works.
No indication that I needed new driver, but AHII would not run without it.
Check for the latest video driver if AHII crashes on your PC.
