is it too early to call it?
made you look.
I remember when Phoenix came back from 10 points down and 1 minute left to win a game...playoff Basketball is second to playoff footaball in my book
-
At least some are still watching, it seemed the last few weeks that most on the BBS had lost interest, since nothing on the play-offs was posted at all.
The past few years there were always a lot of discussions and pre- and after-game commentaries, was fun...

The game has changed alot, personally I've gotten turned off since gang members were allowed on NBA teams.

Attendance to the Blazer games was nearing an all-time low. It will be some time before I work up the nerve to watch them again.
Personally, I find the style of play these days a little unsettling. Ever since MJ was head and shoulders above the rest of the NBA, every team has felt the need to have a superstar... and promote/play them as such. It makes for increadibly boring basketball. I'll always dislike Bud for that move.
It's funny how the economic boom of the mid 90's (post 92) made so many people look like management geniuses. It's not until there's a downturn that you really test their decision making prowess. The NBA is showing that 70% of the teams are run buy morons as well as the league office. I only wish Portland weren't one of the teams.
I give credit to Sacremento and Rick Adleman for actually putting together a team that's fun to watch.

Please don't tell me you are mistaking Bud Selig for David Stern. That's like mistaking Rosie O'Donnel for Catherine Zeta Jones.
I think your overall view of the league is greatly skewed by your association to the Blazers.

Hehehe... yes I did. And personally, I dislike Catherine about as much as I dislike Rosie.

You mean the increasing physical aspect of the game or the off-court behavior of many players? (or both)

I hate the lakers but love Malone. So i have to cheer for them, but it will be hard to cheer against the Kings if they meet in the western finals.

Yeah, why can't they all be model citizens like NFL players?

Same here, always been a fan of Malone. The problem this season is that rooting for him also means supporting Kobe and Shaq...
Dillemas, Dillemas!

LOL
NFL has far more idiots and gang members then the NBA. Hell, i can only think of one in the NBA that is close to being a gang member and that is AI, and he is just an idiot. The fact that it takes an extreme amount of talent and personal practice to make it in the NBA will keep thugs out of the game. The few that make it do not last long.

I do not mind shaq, it is Kobe i cannot stand. Even before his whole rape scandle. He will be playing for the knicks next year anyways.
