Title: Gods Eye View

Okay I've had this explained to me before but for some reason I cannot get it to work.  I'm currently trying to update the maps for AH2 and can't seem to get gods eye to work.  I've gone to F5 then pressed the secondary fire button and tried my throttle and it's a no go.  Can anyone help me out here?

I've fiddledd with it a couple of times. I know it requires button commands from the stick so I remove all my macro commands before I mess with god's eye mode. I know it only works from the tower. From there I hit F5 and use one button  gain alt one to lose alt the stick to move and the throttle to control how fast I move. Bring up the map and just watch where your icon is going to be where it is you want to be. Think that's about it.

You may have to check your stick mapping.
Make sure that the buttons are still mapped.

But 1 points you down at ground
But 2 = reverse
But 3 = forward

Then like drano said, throttle for speed, stick changes attitude.

Works just like the terrain editor.

Thanks all for your help.  I've got raw AH 2 maps for all field types.  I haven't assigned each item their names yet on the field.  But here's a list of all the new field map types.  Let me know if I'm forgetting something.


Small/Medium/Large Airfields.
Base City.
Vehicle Base.
Large City.
Port.
Ammo Factory.
AAA Factory.
Troop Factory.
Radar Factory.
Headquarters.
