Looks like Hawker Sea Fury (2 seater) to me, was a later modification of the Tempest and some argue greatest piston engine fighter of all time.

Just curious, what kind of camera do you have?  Those pics are real nice!

I have a Canon 10D DSLR. Gotta use the good glass for good results no matter the camera.
If you're going to be shooting in JPEG and not in RAW (Nikon calls theirs NEF) and don't mind not having ISO 100, go with the Nikon D70. If one can afford it (I can't), Nikon's 200-400mm f/4.0 VR lens is hard to beat. Just an awesome lens for airshows and car races.
For the prop planes, use 1/160th shutter speed using Shutter priority (for prop blur). For jets, I like using 1/500th.

Thanks all for the compliments. :)

Wow love that P38 in flight.  Can you say "wallpaper" :)

What lens did you use on this one?

A big difference with my pocket nikon
much less crisp and detail.

focus might have been off aim.

Changed the photos. Didn't allow me to change/edit them here. Started new threads.
Ended up crashing Manx's server (BTW thanks to him that I can share these photos :)  )
It's okay now.
