Title: I miss flyby sounds (50k pic inside)

A low level RTB with Nomde yesterday.

I don't know for you guys but I would LOVE to be able to ear the flyby of the R2800 when on the ground or in the tower.

It certainly would be nice if external engine and plane sounds could be heard. I know everyone says that "you couldn't hear it anyway," but I think the sounds should be in the game.

I think all external sounds should be at real-life amplitudes, and then any closer ambient noises, such as your plane's engine, tank, etc. should drown out the rest from there. That way, if you are trying to sit silent you would be able to hear the things going on around you.

With all the talk about what realism should be, I think sounds should be on or near the top of the list.

 I wish you two were closer in that screen shot Frenchy. It looks nice still!
 I'd vote for external sounds. Realisticly. It would be nice to be in the tower watching the bas and hearing the tanked vehicles driveing by, the Osty, base ack and M!6's shooting as well as the drone and screams of engines passing over.
