ok guys perhaps its just me but i was trying ah2 and my aircraft just seemed to stall out so easy.
OK I know in real life if you cant fly you fall out the sky,but trying the same things in Ah1 i dont end up dropping a few thousand feet n a spin and hit the deck:rofl

Yes, the flight model got better, in some cases much better. In most cases, its a lot tougher.

Great now I have to worry about "them" killing me and "me" killing me!:(

I had the same problem.
I recalibrated my stick in AHII & problem solved.

Landing isn't a piece of cake anymore either. If you touch down short or too hard, the results can be devastating.

That's strange. Yesterday I was TRYING to stall a P-38 in AHII, and it wouldn't do it. I thought maybe the stall limiter thing was turned on by default. I checked, and it wasn't on. Maybe it was my stick calibration - I'll have to try it again and see.

The LA7 seems a bit much. It looks like it can out turn anything (spits, 109's etc).
-
Got my first kill in an SBD yesterday - was an LA7 :lol
Mind you, took nearly all my ammo.

Some stalls are "WTH!" and your stalling, on the other hand you can ride the edge longer as well,Suprised a spit the other night with my 110.

there was a bug in the alerons casing it to stall in an odd way, its fixed in beta 42 tho.
i am very happy with how the p38 flies now in ah2

I had a nasty stall in a Mosquito yesterday. I was very low, just normal turn fighting-ish, and then next thing without warning the plane rolled about 3 times within a second (like torque stall) and went into a flat spin. Obviously on the deck meant I redecorated the fields! :)

...but I could consistently make a Mossy flat-spin in AH 1... so it's even easier to flat spin now ?

Don't think I've even spun a Mossie in AH1. Give it a go in AH2! :)
-
ya that mossie is a good plane, hard to get used to the flaps when going from a p38 tho, sure do like the sound of its eng as it rattles throught the air frame. Any tips on how to turn it and the 110 b4 ?
-
the mossie is an excellent turner in AHII. It can really pull some amazing manuvers in low speeds, but the stall and spin is vicious. pull hard on the stick in high speed and the plane goes all over the place. hard to recover too.
never stall it with nose up and throttle at idle. that's really nasty.
oh ye, you'll never need more than 50% fuel. its go almost infinit range now.

rgr it seems you have to stay at about 200 to get the flaps working, can i jam em down 4 notches like the p38 or should i keep it down too 2 notches?
-
Yes the mossie is great fun in AHII.:) I've gotten in several flat spins, i've gotten out of them but it usually takes about 5k of alt.
eilif- I hardly use the flaps myself, only in use them in emergencies if the fight develops into fighting at stalling speed. I'll sometimes pop them out if i'm roping someone too.
You just have to love the 4 hispanos.:)
