Title: While typing frame drops.

If I type while flying or in the tower. My fps will drop from about 65-80 to 8. I run graphic sliders to about high and view distance to 3 miles. I turned all of those down to lowest it can go it still does it. Is this a bug or is it my system?

Pc specs,

Win 98
1.5 gig pentium 4
128 megs ram ( I know low but dosen't do it on my brothers pc and he has 128 megs)
Geforce Mx 460 64 megs 8x

I can type in Unreal Tournament 04, Battlefield Veitnam and dosen't do this and both of them require more pc power on high details.

My framerate drops 50% when typing.  If I just open the text buffer it drops a little bit but when I'm actually typing it plummets badly.

from 75 to 30 here when typing.

Another bug is the E6B makes the game studder while flying with it open. Also sometimes when I land I get a CTD.

Same here, glad I'm not alone.  The text buffer and keyboard cause 90% of my stutters.   If I bring up the text buffer and just hold down the spacebar I get a 90% FR drop.

Should be improved a great deal in the next patch.
