Good news imo. I know many will see it as a political move, but we need international support, and this is a step in the right direction.

Ok so who thinks the Prez's approval rating will go down to 35 from it's level of 41 now?

this is a clear exit strategy?

isn't Korea a sovereign nation, under its own control?  how long have we been there?

I'll be impressed when I see a concrete date for the last American GI to step onto a plane out of that country.

that's an exit stratagy,  exit has to do with leaving, not who is in control.

Wrong anology, we are in Korea at the request of the Korean goverment, not as occupiers.  No doubt we will maintain a presence in Iraq, at the request of the Iraqui goverment.

if we don't leave it's not an exit, it's a transfer of power.

exit- (noun) departure, egress, outlet, way out,....

if the plan doesn't include a date when we leave, its a transfer of power stratagy not an exit stratagy.  2 completely different subjects.

Uhuh Bush is flip flopping. Now he wants to bring in international help. I thought they were either with us or against us george?

Actually, Bush has always tried to get UN support; it is they who refuse to abide by their own resolutions and back out of commitments.  Bush is doing good by allowing them to save face and rejoin the effort.

Hey folks - it doesnt matter if Bush* looks good or whatever - we need to fix Iraq and get our troops home ASAP.  They are dying every day, over 800 deaths so far.

Plus we broke it so we gotta fix it.

The sooner we fix it and get the hell out, the better.
