I hate to see that happen. The only people that have given me releif for back pain is a couple who are chiropractors. Very up and up and with a good reputation. I hate to see their profession sullied by such a mantra. Of course it seems most of this is happening in California...

Here is what has allways cracked me up.
A woman has the right to abort her unborn fetus because she has a right to HER body.

Well If a woman has a right to HER body then why cant she turn a profit with it?

After all It's HER body aint it?

Huh???? and Rosco told me it was standard practice to tip the chiropractor.

I thought a chiropractor named Bambie was a bit odd!

chiropractors do a good service for peoples back but btw, you can do the same manipulations to yourself. it is very similar to how you crack your knuckles.

also, btw, chiropractic treatment will eventually leave you with a nervous defect in your spine and shoulders.

essentially if you go to a chiropractor more than a few times you are hooked into it for the rest of your life. you'll be lucky if you dont have to go more than the recomended 'every 6 months'

just my 2c

you get artheritus (spelling) in your hands if you crack your knuckles too much.

same for your spine

think about it

LOL that is an old wives tail.

If anything all you will get is maybe a lose joint.

Also I went to the chiropractor for 3years
for a central disk buldge in L-5 S-1

It worked so well I did not have to go under the knife.
I have not been back to my DR in over 2 years now pain free..

i agreed in the first thing i said that chriopracters do great things for people.
personaly i suffered a broken neck 4 years ago in a balcony climbing accident (i watermelon you not) and was lucky to not be crippled.

after the initial healing had finished i visited a chiro and he made me the happiest person alive.

but then he insisted i re-visit him after i already had a 6 months intensive treatment.
my neck was fine before i went back to him.
after the 'check up' it was screwed again.

i went to see another and she frowned and asked who i had seen before. i told her and she explained to me (i think i believed her) that the original chiropractor had sorted my problem but then called me back for the 'check up' and had 'cricked' my neck so that i would come back to him next week.

more patients=more dollars

she did a simple manipulation and it was fine agian.

i never had to go back since.

thank god for the good people left today.
(private dentists are even worse than chiropractors)

Then you got ahold of a bad doctor.
And that does not mean all chiropractic treatment is bad.

It just took 3 years for some reaso to fix my problem he in fact told me that he thought all he would ever be able to offer me was pain managment.
I was just lucky I am mostly pain free in the lower back.
now my neck thats another story LOL.

a fair point
but it is common for chiros to call patients back for regular 6 month 'check ups' is it not?
