Title: CV Plane ditches
Post by: iwin2000 on May 24, 2004, 07:52:40 PM
Whenever you land in a cv on my map, it says it ditches. CV is moving, but i've landed on a moving CV before...bug or something i'm setting up wrong?

did you rotate the task group whenever you placed it on your map? you need to just leave it facing north, when it starts moving it will already be following the path

Don't you get them sailing backwards and other crazy watermelon if you rotate them?

Did you do an object error test check of your terrain?

I would be wondering if you have assigned a Port to your CV.

Many times bugs will clear up if you just "build" your terrain again. If that doesn't help just delete the fleet and place a new one.

Select the CV group while in Objects of the Editor.

Find and double click on FxxSHP000 in the selection list.

To the right of Group ID you'll see a window with a selection down arrow, click it and you'll see a list of Port fields numbers.

Select the one that you want as it's controlling port.
