Title: What are you hiding from???
Post by: Morpheus on May 24, 2004, 08:18:34 PM: I've seen so many ppl lately with BB handles that dont come close to matching that of their in-game handles. Why? What scares you or keeps you from revealing your identity? Or is it just so you can say foolish things?

Just curious really. I mean seeing as this is such a closely nit "community" one would think you'd want everyone else to know who you were.

I was VFJACKAL before I came back to AH...That Callsign was no longer available when I returned. So I took RedTop as that is what I have been called most of my Life. Well and a few more choice words not suited for this board.:lol

Yeah, anyways my point behind this post was just to try and understand why people would use differnt BB names and not make it clear who they are to whome it is they are talking/typing to.

Its easy to hide behind a computer and talk smack. Just let everyone know who you really are while your doing it is what I think :)

Mech, I know what you mean. Im another one of those prime examples :p

Well, I'm hiding behind my BBS handle because Gweebo said he's gonna hunt me down when he sees me in the MA. Lucky for me, my BBS handle is so different from my callsign that there is no way Gweedo is smart enough to put two and two together and find me in the MA. w00t! for BBS shade handles!

Cripes even Grunherz realised I was same guy in here as in game the other day and he managed a smile, though not quite sure what he meant by it. Grunherz

I have a Lute bbs login' somewhere. I spaced the p/w or sumptin' so I created flyingaround for a quick login. Been couple years now.

LOL no kidding...I've used the same handle and call sign for 10 years. Only time I didn't is when played DOS AW for a few months and was just a number among a few other numbers.

When "Stony" became available, I didn't bother to see if I could use it in the boards. Of course, the handles aren't that far apart. As far as speaking my mind here or in the arena, I'm like Simon Cowell from "American Idol".

Actually tater and his buddy 999000 can be found hiding in the weeds in their buff formations. Be sure to bring a powerful lawn mower if you want to "cut em down"!
