Title: Refresh rate fix for WinXP/GfFX5900 ?

Stuck on 75Hz at 1280/1024 while monitor is capable at least to 85Hz...
Can't over-ride it from settings so guess third party software is what I need.

Any recommendations ??

Sometimes it helps to set the desktop to the same resolution, set the refresh rate on desktop and then start the game.

If it won't match your refreshes something's wrong. The brand for starters. ;)

I remember when I was still foolish enough to use Nvidia. I had to fiddle around with all sorts of refresh rate fixes and thingies. No matter what I did I was left with horrible 2D desktop performance. Anything over 800x600 was blurry.

Are the new nvidias as bad in 2D?
