Title: AH2 Beta Suggestion
Post by: TequilaChaser on May 26, 2004, 07:04:44 PM
why not make it where all bordering fields can not be captured, damaged, porked or what ever. Only allow the rear fields be buffed, bombed, etc.......this way the flyers can have it easier to check out the FM and setup and test it, as well as the buff boys can get alt to test their bombing effect. etc....

No reason to do any damage to bordering fields, this is beta you will know if it was a good hit, drop, shot by the flashes, craters etc....and everyone will not be wasting their time trying to fly from a field 5 sectors away because it is the only field with enough fuel to fight from.

Some of these planes take 25% to just take off and fly 1/2 a sector

Come on People. Wait til AH2 goes live before you start your land grabbing / porking horde raids. Let people test AH2 and help HTC get  all the kinks out first, we will all enjoy it much more if we do.

btw...pardon my posting in the Bug Forum, seems we only have a Bug Forum and a Tour Of Duty forum for AH2 at the moment.

Bit of a contradiction don't you think? - have recently been working on captures as new strategies are required.
The most I've seen online recently is around 60ish which hardly demands all fully operational fields along the entire border.  While am at it, you forgot to mention the trend towards gangvulchcampercherrypicking.

However, I do agree that the furball fields should be left alone.

Hell ideally we'd all love to up from a capped field, be left alone to gain co-alt and E, engage in a 1 on 1 and have the next con allow you to give your 's before engaging. ;)
Early Beta testing approached this, but I fear that time is running out as the changeover approaches - the MA is here (nearly).
