Title: screen blanking/pc hanging

so i fly around for around an hour in AH2 and screen blanks, pc hangs and last sound is still playing. usually happens at around an hour.

pc specs are:
1800+
512mb ddr266
ti4200

at 1280x1024 res, detail sliders at max performance.

could it be my crappy gf4 overheating? cleaned up the vidcard fan 2 months ago and my brand is notorious for bad gpu fans

will open up my casing and see if ventilation will extend my flying time

using det56.72

it doesnt look like vid card overheating. i play ah2 offline for an hour and everything is fine. but when i go into ah2, one hop and my pc conks out on me:(

Get the side off your case and blow some air in. Sounds just like CPU overheating.

after you freeze up, reboot computer, and go into your BIOS and check CPU temp.  I agree it sounds more like cpu getting hot.
