Ever since I started going online in AH2 I am automatically switched to TCP. Is this common?

Thought I would bump this one tkor....thought it was just me having the problem.
Just as I get logged into the arena the first message I see everytime now is "UDP session lost, switching to TCP." Has been that way since beta 30.

Same here Rascal, I think it has actually gone back farther than Beta 30 for me, think it has been from the very beginning.

I also have this happen to me every time I log on, generally within the first couple minutes. It has been happening to me in AH1 for the last few months also. I was hoping it would go away with AH2, but I guess not. I'm not sure what info I need to send in to skuzzy to have it fixed.

Same here, I didn't think it was a bug or anything since no one else posted about it and it didn't seem to affect game play. Happens as soon as I go online. This has happen since beta 30 also.

Punting this one up.......and I guess its not "UDP session lost....", on mine I think it is "Not receiving updates, switching to TCP." I am still able to fly fine, etc......normally in AH1 when I got the message (rare) it meant I was about to dump. In AH2 it doesn't dump me and haven't heard anyone talking about warping of my plane, etc.
Just curious

Ever since patch 6, I am getting booted after playing online after quite a while and sometimes right away. Usually when it starts happening it continually happens even after a reboot and relog. I get the message "Lost UDP Session swithc to TCP". Whats up?s

only having 128mb of system ram, I use a proggy called SpeedUp. it defrags and frees your system ram.
When I keep running it, until I can free no more (usually shows me to have 106mb ish free) I can log in and NOT lose udp. If I don't run it, I lose it instantly.
go figure.
