Title: suggestion for canopies

Add some dirt to the canopy glasses, mainly near metal structures, same way as the actual bood. Now glasses seem so clean than in fact the effect is like having no glasses at all.
That surely will increase the inmersion factor.

Ah! - but what about all those photos of faithful ground crew carefully polishing the perspex canopy for their pilot before a mission?  This was a maintenance detail which ground crews gave careful attention to. I have enough trouble with specs of dust, etc. on my computer screen looking like cons!

I am not in favor of this idea.  With my eyes, I have enough trouble seeing things, without adding simulated dirty canopies!  Also, with only 1 eye on each side of my head (see image at left)...
