Title: Add/remove Programs Missing?

Someone posted a problem a while back about having nothing listed under CONTROL PANEL/ADD-REMOVE PROGRAMS.  Did you ever figure out why?  My mother has the same problem plus here Office 2002 programs won't open.  Everthing else seems to work.  She keeps Norton running and updated.  Anyone have any ideas?  I can't fly halfway accross the Pacific to check it out so trying to help over the phone.

bunch of stuff on http://www.microsoft.com\technet.  I don't remember the exact article, search for add remove programs missing.  You should get some hits...  

Have you tried remote assistance with her? :)

If you and her have XP it's quite easy...
