Hijacker, Duke, Slash - what do you think?    This is based on Greebo's awesome template.    Think it would be worth my time to submit it to HTC?

Thanks Arlo, I cleaned it up a bit more and sent it in this morning, so we'll see.    A huge thanks to Greebo for his excellent F6F-5 template!

I couldn't resist doing the tri-color as I think it's by far the most interesting and nice-looking color scheme.   There is a problem though- the way the skin is mapped to the 3D model, the underside of the horizontal stabilizers gets the same color as the surface of the stabilizers.    So the underside of the stabilizers is sea blue rather than white.     I didn't notice this until after I had the fuselage done.    Its there in Greebo's readme file that came with the template though - I think I read through it too fast.

It won't take long long to fix after the skin map is corrected, and online in the game with external fighter views disabled I doubt it'll be very noticeable under most circumstances.   Still, it's a pretty large problem, surface area-wise, on the skin.

Haven't heard anything yet.   But I expect they are pretty busy with AH2 rollout next week.

If its rejected due to the dark color under the stabs, I can re-do it in the all dark scheme.    It was my first skin and I'll take any suggestions they have to heart and get them incorporated quickly and re-submit.   VF-27 deserves a Hellcat skin, no question about that...

Where is Hijacker lately?

Nice skin Oboe. Good thing VF-27 has a friend who can skin otherwise those drunks would be asking my drunks for cans of paint and brushes and who knows what might happen from that combination.

Got to make sure there is 2 bottles of Jack are in that plane... or VF-27 won't fly it...

Sweet.  I am planning to return for ah2.  I have kept my account but couldnt get myself to play ah1 anymore.  Too busy, and sick of the fm.  ah2 is gonna be wonderful.
