I was wondering, why can we not get our perks back when we get discod?i mean it is not our fault that we get discod it is the server's right?we work hard for the perks and we want them back!

Iv'e heard of people saying that they sent HT or skuzzy a email with the film attached and got their perkies back. I never did it I have lost em a few times to discoes but funny thing is I never discoe while filming....go figure
dont really care if I get discoed and loose perkies ..it's not like i need em to live.

It's not necessarily the "servers" fault. What happens if your ISP causes the disco ... how is HTC responsible for that and how can you prove that it was the HTC server that caused the disco ?
Not something that I would care to try to prove.

...and HTC could tell the difference between a true disco and someone pulling their cable when they get in trouble in a 262, how?
Plus, it's easy enough to get 10+ perks per sorty anyway.

Ok i have heard of ppl useing the alt f4 trick, does that work, or does someone get the kill on you, still?

If I am in a hurry to leave the game (IE fire dept gets called out), I alt-F4 the game. I always see either a "you have crashed" or "you have been killed" message just before it shuts down

A while back I've gotten perks back without a film, but just once...because I've been lucky and only disco'ed only once while flying a perk plane. There use to be a bug with the me262 that caused a disco, but I don't remember the details.
Now...I just don't really care, and usually don't fly the "Hey Hoard, Ho me and kill me now planes".
Nothing wrong with sending a polite email to Skuzzy and asking, he usually responds to email in the morning when he arrives at the office.

If you can't afford to lose the perks dont take the plane out of the hangar. Simple as that.

Hmmm... this reminds me of the guy who whined because he hadn't landed his kills by the time terrain rollover occurred. :rolleyes:

Unless you've earned 45 per points on a mission what's the beef?
Who gives a rat's arse if you've lost 2.5 perk points on a mission? Re-up and earn some more. It isn't worth the trouble of trying to record every flight to obtain proof of kills against the possibility of a disco.

So i guess you do lose your perks at the reset if u havernt landed?Well see thats not right, caause it is hard to get to a base and land a 262 in 4 mins!

Well, you should stufy the map before taking off. If one side is down to 2 or 3 bases dont up a 262. So it is right. Pay attention to the map and read all memo's.

lol well i havent lost one to that yet, and dont plane on it, cause if they only have like 10 fields, then the plane is going to be to expensive for my blood;)

WHAT!?? if your up in ur lil 262 and a reset happens and when you get discoed and then come back you still have the perks for that 262? I was told by skuzzy IIRC that you would losse them if you didnt land and hit the tower before the reset takes place

As I understood resets when like this. As long as you were in the air when a reset happened everything was cool and you would lose no perks.
Also, if you had kills they would not be logged. ie;you never had them.
Could be mistaken tho.:)

Correct MorphEuS.
When a reset happens the host program terminates. Your disco happens because the program terminates, hence it cant log any scores or remove perk points.

No WilldCrd, the only thing you lose when I reset the arena is any kills in a sortie you have not landed. Perks are not lost due to an arena reset.
